Terms of Service

Not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney before publishing — payment terms and liability limitations in particular should be checked against your specific business entity and state law.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of jobtkl.com (the "Service"), operated by JobTkl ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

JobTkl provides AI-powered career tools including resume analysis, job-fit scoring, skill gap recommendations, interview preparation, resume and cover letter generation, and job search functionality. Some features are available free of charge with usage limits; full access is available via a paid credit pack.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older, located in the United States or Canada. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts and Licenses

Upon purchase, you receive a license key tied to your email address, which grants access to a set number of credits. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. License keys are non-transferable between individuals.

4. Pricing, Credits, and Payment

Credit packs are purchased at the price displayed at checkout. Prices are subject to change; changes do not affect credits already purchased.
1 credit covers a Fit Score + Skill Gap Roadmap + Interview Playbook bundle for one job description, or one Resume Studio build.
Certain features (Find Jobs, a limited number of generic Resume Studio builds) are available free of charge, subject to usage limits described on the Service.
Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not directly store your full payment card details.

5. Refund Policy

Because credits unlock access to AI-generated digital content that is created and delivered immediately upon use, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used. However:

If a technical error on our end causes a credit to be deducted without a corresponding result being delivered (e.g., a failed generation), that credit will be automatically refunded to your account — this is handled automatically by the Service in most cases.
If you believe you were charged in error, or a credit was deducted without you receiving usable output and it was not automatically refunded, contact contact@jobtkl.com within 14 days of the charge. We will review and, where warranted, issue a refund or credit reinstatement at our discretion.
Unused credit packs may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if no credits from that pack have been used — contact us to request this.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or that you don't have the right to submit.
Use the Service to generate content for someone other than yourself in a way that constitutes fraud (e.g., impersonation in job applications).
Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or credit/payment systems.
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's operation.
Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Analysis, resumes, cover letters, interview guidance, and course recommendations are generated automatically using AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it, submitting it to an employer, or otherwise using it. We make no guarantee of job search outcomes, interview success, or employment as a result of using the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your resume content and any information you submit. We retain ownership of the Service itself, including its design, code, and branding. AI-generated output based on your content is provided to you for your personal use in your job search.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Anthropic, Razorpay, Adzuna, and JSearch/RapidAPI) to function. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or issues originating from these third-party services, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain Service availability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBTKL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credits are not automatically forfeited upon voluntary account inactivity, but see Section 5 for refund terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
